We bring together survivors and allies
Founded in 2022, our founders saw the lack of comprehensive sexual education in public schools, especially in Texas. Haley Reyes quickly remembered the worldwide sensation, known as Denim Day, and knew she had to bring it to her school. In less than two months, Haley and her childhood friend, Miabella Rosa, planned and organized their own local Denim Day awareness week. After seeing the heartwarming success they knew Denim Day LBK was here to stay. Over the following months, the girls would continue to strategize, organize, and reinvent how sexual harassment and assault were approached by teens.

Haley founded Denim Day LBK when she saw the lack of comprehensive education surrounding sexual assault. This prompted her to quickly gather a small handful of supporters and create this organization. Her strong passion of activism strives to expand the work of Denim Day LBK.
